Q: How long have you practiced yoga and what other forms of exercise do you like to do?
I've been practicing yoga for about 27 years! GASP. I mainly like to do yoga. And I enjoy long walks with friends too!
Q: What brought you to YogaSpark?
I like practicing all forms of Yoga. Yoga spark attracted me because of the incredibly loyal, fun and vivacious community.
Q: What do you love about practicing hot power yoga?
I think the feeling when you lay down in savasana after a hot power yoga class is up there with any "amazing" feeling you can have in this life. It's not a feeling you can buy or take something to feel. You have to earn by giving everything in class, and it's transformative. I love that feeling.
Q: Can you give a word or phrase that describes yoga to you?
Q: What's your current favorite song to flow to?
I'm not good at picking music...I leave that to the pros!
Q: Do you have a favorite quote?
Yes! A speech that I read when I did my first yoga teacher training (See here)
Q: What yoga pose do you love practicing right now?
These days...with a torn ACL...Downward dog is INCREDIBLE. Getting my leg to fully straighten and feeling the strength of my quads. It's amazing how a pose I took for granted is now like medicine to heal my body!
Q: Tell us one non yoga factoid about you
My favorite food is french fries. I order them almost every time I have the chance!!!
